Neil Hunter will give you the horrors....

THREE FULL-LENGTH HORROR NOVELS - ONE LOW PRICE!!!

Scorpion
Les Mason, reporter for the Long Point News, is close to finishing an expose on the Long Point Nuclear Plant. But before he can slot the final piece of the jigsaw into place, he dies an agonizing death as the result of some sort of sting. The doctors are baffled — and there are similar cases to follow ... Chris Lane, his girlfriend, and organizer of the Long Point Protestors, discovers Mason’s notes, and decides to find out for herself what the plant has to hide...

The Touch of Hell
The village of Shepthorne wasn’t being gripped, but strangled by winter’s blanket of snow and Arctic temperatures. The trouble began with a massive pile-up on frozen roads and a fireball of exploding petrol as a truck collided with a tanker in the garage forecourt. Then, from the sky, a huge military transport with its cargo of devastation crashed down towards the village. Hell was just beginning to touch Shepthorne . . .

Scorpion – Second Generation
The colony of deadly scorpions at Long Point Nuclear Plant was eradicated. Or so people thought . . . Over a year later, entomologist Miles Ranleigh receives a worrying telephone call. A man has been fatally poisoned by toxic venom, identical to the Long Point scorpions’ — but far more powerful. Miles and his companion Jill Ansty must race to destroy the fresh infestation. But this is a new strain of scorpion. Mutated and irradiated, they’re larger, more savage — and infected with a deadly virus fatal to humans. And they’re breeding . . .

for the fantastic price of $2.99 and exclusive to Kindle Amazon until the New Year.

Announcing our latest acquisition ...

After weeks of negotiation, we can finally announce PP's latest acquisition! Ladies and gentlemen, Piccadilly Publishing is proud indeed to add PETER McCURTIN to our line-up!

This near-legendary writer hardly needs any introduction to readers of action-adventure fiction. In addition to a number of highly-regarded Mafia novels and such men's adventure series as The Assassin, The Marksman and Soldier Of Fortune, Peter also put his own distinct stamp on a whole slew of westerns.

Over the months ahead we will be publishing Peter's six-book Carmody series, the six Lassiter westerns he wrote under the name Jack Slade, the seven Jim Saddler books he wrote as Gene Curry, his fabulous stand-alone western, Rockwell and, of course, his nineteen contributions to the Sundance series created by Ben Haas (including Man Hunt, which was originally issued under Ben's John Benteen pseudonym)!

Hold onto your Hats!

Our quest for global domination took another leap forward today when the mailman delivered some news that was so EXCELLENT Mike and I just had to dance a celebratory jig right there in the middle of the office. The up-shot is that we've added another top-notch writer to our line-up in the shape of JOHN EDWARD AMES, a prolific penman whose CHEYENNE and WILD BILL series (written under the name JUDD COLE) we'll be launching in ebook format later in 2014! We've got two new artists onboard to look after the series and there's a striking concept for each of the series.

Two from Tony Masero

Whilst Tony Masero has been very busy working on the cover art for many of our books, we haven’t forgotten him as an author. That’s why we are happy to announce that we will be publishing two of his fast-action Westerns in mid-March and mid-April: THE RIFLEMEN and THE PURSUED. Thus you get a double-whammy - great art plus great writing. I hope you enjoy.

Clint Adams, The Gunsmith - the artwork

Tony Masero has come up with the goods, yet again. Here are the first three covers in the CLINT ADAMS, THE GUNSMITH series. I'm sure that you agree with me that they are quite stunning.

Ronald Chetwynd-Hayes comes to PP

It seems that not a week goes by this year without us being able to tell you of yet another author joining PP. This time around it's award-winning author Ronald Chetwynd-Hayes aka "Britain's Prince of Chill". We have agreed contracts with his estate to reissue a number of horror anthologies.  Dave hasn't rested on his laurels and has come up with this striking artwork which captures Ron's underlying humor.
We haven't got a firm publication date as yet but we will keep you informed.

The Return of Mike Faraday

Mike Faraday visualised by Rob Moran
Piccadilly Publishing is to release the digital backlist of Basil Copper’s PI Series, Mike Faraday. The Dark Mirror will be published on 01 April 2014 at the low price of .99p and will publish one per month thereafter until the series is complete.

Mike Stotter said, “We’ve looked at our past sales and like every publisher out there, look to experiment with the price. At .99p per title the readers will eventually be able to build a complete Mike Faraday series for less than £52.00. Compared to having to buy the physical books, which could set them back in the region of £350 (if they can get them all); this is a bargain that will be very hard to resist. The series will also carry especially-commissioned covers painted by film noir specialist Rob Moran.”

The Dark Mirror was originally published in 1966 and introduced hard-boiled Los Angeles P.I. Mike Faraday. Faraday is your typical pulp private eye: tough; quick with the wise-cracks and his fists, and oh yes – he also has a healthy eye for the ladies. The series ran for more than two decades, with the final book, Print Out, appearing in 1988. The series will be available across all platforms including Kindle, Nook, Kobo and Smashwords.

Vernon Hinkle continues the John Cutler series through PP

Before Christmas we told you all that we were going to see the return of a character we didn't think we'd be seeing again. At the time we couldn't offer any more clues than that. Now the truth can be revealed ...

Beginning in April 2014, PP is proud to begin publishing the four remaining books in the JOHN CUTLER series!

You'll recall that the series was created by John Benteen, but cancelled prematurely when his editor decided that it was impossible to get a great western series out of a character who hunts rogue animals for a living (how wrong he was!) In 1978 the publisher had a change of heart, but by that time Ben Haas (Benteen himself) has passed away at the ridiculously young age of 52.

Enter novelist Vernon Hinkle ...

"The editor for all of the Tower books was Milburn Smith, and—since it was only yesterday, so to speak—I remember sitting in Milburn’s office discussing one of my mystery novels (to be published under my own name), when he informed me that John Benteen had passed away after starting the Cutler series with just two novels. He wondered if I’d be interested in taking it over. After I got on board, he told me the only problem was my name didn’t sound western, so I came up with "H. V. Elkin" an anagram of "V. Hinkle", which, having an “elk” in it, somehow sounded western to me. I enjoyed writing under my new name; it gave me a great sense of freedom and, with that, a different style. But after completing four manuscripts, fulfilling my contract, I felt like I’d run out of rogue animals. Nevertheless, I am delighted to see you given them a new lease of life through Piccadilly Publishing!"

The series continues with # 3: EAGLE MAN. Meantime, here are the covers for # 4: TIGER'S CHANCE and # 5: MUSTANG

Robert J Randisi joins Piccadilly Publishing

This is exciting news!

We have obtained the electronic books rights to the first twelve GIANT GUNSMITH novels Robert wrote as J.R. Roberts. They will be released with specially-commissioned covers by Tony Masero (the Searcher, The Sergeant and Herne the Hunter).

We are so thrilled that Robert, who has a prestigious track record, has allowed us to bring back this wonderful series.

Robert says: "I'm very excited to have Piccadilly Publishing bringing the first twelve Giant Gunsmith books to a new audience. And, hopefully, some of Clint Adams' old readers will want these new electronic editions, as well. And to think they'll have Tony Masero covers just adds to the excitement."

Clint Adams, The Gunsmith #1 Trouble in Tombstone will be released on May 1 2014 with forthcoming titles published every two months.
